Marsulex receives two prestigious awards for safety performance at ExxonMobil and Tesoro Refineries

TEXAS CITY, TX, April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Marsulex Inc. has received two prestigious Contractor Merit Safety Awards from the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) for performance at the ExxonMobil Baytown Refinery and the Tesoro Los Angeles Refinery.

Marsulex provides outsourced petcoke cutting and handling services to the two refineries and was nominated for the awards by ExxonMobil and Tesoro.

The awards are part of a comprehensive safety program developed by NPRA's Safety and Health Committee to promote accident prevention in the petroleum refining and petrochemical manufacturing industries as well as the contractors supporting them and to publicly recognize those facilities that for the previous year have achieved a high safety standard in their daily operations.
