SPDR Gold Trust says holdings rise 1.2 pct

BANGALORE, Aug 18 (Reuters) - The world's largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, SPDR Gold Trust , said its holdings rose 1.2 percent to 1286.83 tonnes Thursday from 1271.98 tonnes on Wednesday.
