Dish Network Corp. (Nasdaq: DISH) engaged in a bidding war for Clearwire Corp. (Nasdaq: CLWR) by topping Sprint Nextel Corp.'s (NYSE: S) $3.40 per share offer with a $4.40 per share bid. Shares of Clearwire leaped 88 cents to $4.36 while Dish Network stock added 28 cents to $39.53. Sprint stock edged up a penny to $7.30
