Dayton Region Manufacturers Association Gears Up for Annual Manufacturing Event

The Dayton Region Manufacturers Association (DRMA) is pleased to announce the 2014 Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show (AMTS) in Dayton, Ohio. This year, AMTS will be held October 22-23 at the Dayton Airport Expo Center. AMTS is an annual advanced manufacturing and technology-specific trade show, providing manufacturers the opportunity to see the latest products and solutions in one location.

In 2013, manufacturers contributed $2.08 trillion to the United States economy. This industry alone is responsible for supporting an estimated 17.4 million jobs across the country. AMTS draws manufacturers from Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky looking to explore the latest manufacturing tools and technology directly from exhibitors and industry experts. Most manufacturers are looking to buy locally, and AMTS helps exhibitors reach important decision makers from businesses throughout the tri-state area.

This year, attendees can participate in any of the 14 free seminars offered at Knowledge Center Stage. Featuring some of the hottest topics in manufacturing today, a number of AMTS seminars will focus on additive manufacturing, including 3D printing and rapid prototyping. In addition to seminars, attendees can learn more about products and services, including those specific to 3D printing and rapid prototyping, in exhibitors’ in-booth demonstrations. Admission to AMTS is free and parking is complimentary. DRMA is expecting over 3,000 attendees, 160 exhibitors and more than 400 brands to be represented at this year’s show.

“We are looking forward to another successful event this year,” said Angelia Erbaugh, president of the Dayton Region Manufacturers Association. “The manufacturing industry is continuously evolving, and we’re excited to provide attendees the opportunity to meet regional frontline manufacturers, strengthening regional partnerships and supporting each other’s businesses.”
