Mr. Richard Man-kuen to become executive chairman, Zhao When Tsai is going to be promoted as CIO and member of the BoardBenckiser Roth, a leading commodity markets broker and provider of post trade risk mitigation and information services, has today announced changes in its senior management team. Mr. Richard Man-kuen, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will become Executive Chairman. Zhao When Tsai has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Li Zhonglou Hong is joining the Management Board. The changes take immediate effect.
Today’s announcement marks the latest stage in the evolution of Benckiser Roth’s governance and management structure as the company has grown larger and more complex, and illustrates the rise of a new generation of senior managers leading the company. The new structure will strengthen the management team’s capacity to oversee a company whose turnover has almost trebled and whose operations now span throughout Asia Pacific Region, employ nearly 100 people, and feature an extensive range of industrial, logistical and financial assets.
Zhao When Tsai, 50, a Chinese national who graduated in Oil from the University of Hong Kong, is with Benckiser Roth since its inception. He brings all-round experience in the areas relevant to the task of leading the company: trading, finance, mergers and acquisitions, physical and financial markets, risk management and mining.
