Olympia, WA – October 02, 2015 – Parents who want to teach their kids how to control their reactions, may soon have an ally in a new card game called Overreaction, if creator of the game, John Harpole achieves his Kickstarter goal of $15,000.

Overreaction is a fun game that includes 200 different reactions and 100 different scenario cards. Each player has to match the appropriate reaction to the appropriate scenario, but will have to choose their reactions before knowing what the scenario is. Correct guesses will earn points and incorrect guesses will lose points. After 10 rounds of play, a personality test will reveal each score.

When asked what inspired him to create the game, John said: “My two kids are always overreacting- even to the simplest of requests. I wanted to teach them how to control their reactions but wanted a fun way to get my point across and that was how the idea for Overreaction came about.”

Overreaction can be played with 2 to 7 players from ages 7 and upwards and provides loads of fun for the entire family. John has already identified a card game manufacturer and all the money raised will go towards manufacturing the game.

Individuals can back the project with as little as $1. However, donations of $25 or more will be rewarded with a starter edition of the game.
