Apple fights request to unlock iPhone in New York drug case

Apple, Inc. filed court papers Friday asking a judge to reject an effort by the Justice Department to make the company help open a locked iPhone in a New York drug case—the latest legal salvo in a continuing battle over encryption and privacy.
