Florida Concealed Weapons Course
This is a hands-on training in a concealed weapons course and firearms training covering basic firearms safety, carrying a firearm, and basic weapons handling fundamentals. Individuals will also learn how to properly clean and maintain a firearm. Completion of this course allows applicants to apply to the State of Florida for a Concealed Weapons License. Defensive Handgun Training
The Defensive Handgun Training will focus on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. As a result of participating in this course, the student will be able to explain and demonstrate the following: How to apply the Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed firearm, basic principles of concealment, the difference between cover and concealment, drawing from the holster, levels of mental awareness, developing the proper mindset when using a pistol for personal protection, clearing common stoppages, use of pocket pistols, and more. Students will receive a Defensive Handgun Training certificate. (normal cost $100.00 – 20% = $80.00)
Basic Range Safety Officer
The NRA Basic Range Safety Officer course is provided in a one-day session. This training helps develop NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. (normal coast $100.00 – 20% = $80.00)
Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course
Come take advantage of our NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course… You’ll learn the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family. (normal cost $150.00 – 20% = $120.00)
Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home
Florida Concealed Weapons Course also offers NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home course. This training will provide you with knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home. (normal cost $150.00 – 20% = $120.00)
Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training
Florida Concealed Weapons Course offers the NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training providing the basic KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ATTITUDE necessary to learn pistol marksmanship using a virtual training system. This course teaches you the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip, breath control, basic marksmanship fundamentals, firearm safety all while using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. (normal cost $55.00 – 20% = $44.00)
Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program
The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program is a gun accident prevention program developed by a task force made up of educators, school administrators, curriculum specialists, urban housing safety officials, clinical psychologists, law enforcement officials and National Rifle Association firearm safety experts. It began in 1988 with one mission: teach children four simple, easy to remember steps so they know what to do if they ever come across a gun. In 2015 the NRA introduced a fresh, new Eddie and added some friends—his Wing Team. Though Eddie has evolved, his mission has not.
