Dollar rises on upside surprises in U.S. economy

The U.S. dollar climbed against the euro and yen Tuesday after Commerce Department data show U.S. factory orders jumped 1.1% in June and ISM data show U.S. service-sector companies grew at the fastest pace in 9 years in July.
