SodaStream International (Nasdaq: SODA) reported higher third quarter earnings and revenue that topped analyst estimates.
On the downside
CPI Card Group (Nasdaq: PMTS) disappointed with lower third quarter earnings that fell short of expectations prompting a downgrade.
58.com (NYSE: WUBA) reported a loss for the third quarter.
Novavax (Nasdaq: NVAX) widened losses for the third quarter as revenue plunged and announced that it will cut approximately 30% of its workforce.
In the broad market, declining issues edged out advancers by a margin of nearly 5 to 4 on the NYSE while advancers outpaced decliners by nearly 5 to 3 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 gained 4 points to 2,167. Bitcoin fell $7 to $707.
