Shutterfly Inc. (Nasdaq: SFLY) reported sharply higher fourth quarter revenue and earnings of $1.40 per share compared with 97 cents per share in the year ago period hat surpassed analyst expectations by a wide margin sending the stock price soaring $6.81 to close at $40.40.
