Office Depot Inc. (NYSE: ODP) and OfficeMax Inc. (NYSE: OMX) will merge in an all stock transaction valued at approximately $1.2 billion. Shares of Office Depot lost 73 cents to $4.29 while OfficeMax stock slipped 60 cents to $12.40.
