On November 12, 2012 it was a day when two people with no earthly idea, whom the other one was, set you to go and try and meet a new person. Two people, who were tired of being alone, wanted to find someone to spend the rest of life with. On one end there was a man named Andrew.
Andrew is a man from the United States with not a clue how to speak a word of Spanish but with a heart just waiting to be taken. It had taken Andrew a long time to build of the courage to try and go to a place to try and find a woman that he might be able to call his wife one day. He felt vulnerable and did quite know what to think of the whole situation. However, he still thought deep in his heart that he would be able to go to one of these meetings and come home happy.
Andrew set out to Colombia determined and terrified all at the same time. It was a new experience for him and he thought that no matter what would happen at least he would know he tried. Having arrived to Colombia he soon realized that he didn’t know how to communicate properly with people there.
He had never taken any Spanish lessons and knew only how to speak English. Most people in this situation would turn around and go home but not Andrew. He came determined and had a feeling that his future wife was about to walk into his life. The next day Andrew went to Latin Women Dating meeting and was feeling very alone there. Everyone was eating and being served food and it seemed everyone was looking right past him. That is when an angel arrived and her name was Girley.
