HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - Jan. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Ken Griffey, Jr., shareholder in the locally owned New River Auto Mall, has been named to the Baseball Hall of Fame with a record-breaking 99.3 percent of the vote.

Griffey was named to the National Baseball Hall of Fame with the highest voting percentage in history, according to USA Today. He received 99.3 percent of the votes cast by members of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
Griffey’s baseball career spanned more than two decades, from 1989 to 2010. He also became the first player ever selected No. 1 overall in the baseball draft to reach the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
The New River Auto Mall is a group of auto dealerships owned by the Coastal States Automotive Group, and has served the Lowcountry and coastal Georgia areas for more than 14 years.
