Wartune has decided to spit its mettle against the rest of Steam Greenlight. The MMORPG was first published over three years ago, and has more than 10 million registered users across the world. It has gone through 5 major updates, which have introduced thousands of hours of content. The Wartune team has made multiple adjustments to optimize the game for the Steam platform and its users, assuring their fans that this will be the best version yet.
Xitou Lee, COO for Wartune’s publishing company Proficient City, said in an interview: “After succeeding in Greenlight, Wartune will be on Steam within one to three months. We’re sure that this cooperation between Wartune and Steam will be profitable for both sides. Wartune already has a very solid fan base, and many of them will be drawn by the Steam client. Wartune will also be able to take advantage of the millions of players that are already on Steam, and offer them a new and exciting free-to-play game. We have plans to put many more games on Steam, and to take advantage of the active and enthusiastic PC gaming community.”

Wartune is an RPG+ Strategic browser game, which received Facebook Staff Favorite award in 2013 and the Facebook Top Asian Game award in 2014. Players can choose from three distinct classes, change their units, alter their formation, and adjust tactics to defeat hundreds of enemies. Proficient City has plans to launch several other titles on Steam once Wartune has succeeded.
