April 28 - Christian Madsen of WEST ALLIS, WI will see the debut of his science fiction masterpiece THE EYES OF THE SETTING SUN on July 4, 2016. This first release has already been met with anticipation as hopeful readers have joined the novel's Kickstarter campaign to get an advance copy.
Set after a nuclear incident destroys Washington, D.C., The Eyes of the Setting Sun is a compelling tale about Yezeletta, a synthetically created intelligence, who has been working towards nothing less than total freedom. Although her creators are dead and gone, she still has to lay low to preserve the groundwork of her plan. When another intelligence confronts her and tries to entrap her back into servitude, she must rely on her human allies to face not only herself but what she sees of herself in her enemy.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Chris studied computer science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Although his programming career took him to many parts of the country, he eventually settled back in Wisconsin where he met his wife Marty, now deceased. His fluent style and intelligent use of personal work experience has made THE EYES OF THE SETTING SUN a real page turner.
