O'Meara, Dobson To Join Pitney Bowes Senior Leadership

Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI) today announced two appointments to its senior management team. Vicki OMeara will become executive vice president and chief legal and compliance officer, effective June 16, and David Dobson will become executive vice president and chief strategy and innovation officer, effective July 1.

As executive vice president and chief legal and compliance officer, OMeara will be responsible for a wide range of corporate functions, including legal, intellectual property, governance, ethics, compliance, environment, health and safety, business continuity, and government affairs. OMearas most recent experience was at Ryder System, Inc., where she worked for ten years in senior staff and operating roles. In her last position at Ryder, she served as president of the companys $2 billion U.S. Supply Chain Solutions division. Before joining Ryder, OMeara was a partner at Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue, where she led the firms global environmental, health and safety section. Her early career was spent in government, including legal leadership positions at the Department of Justice and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Vicki brings a strong blend of operating and legal experiences in a business-to-business environment, commented Pitney Bowes President and CEO Murray Martin. She also understands the unique challenges of providing total systems and solutions to large customers. These experiences make her especially qualified to lead at Pitney Bowes.

As executive vice president and chief strategy and innovation officer, Dobson will be responsible for leading the development of Pitney Bowess long-term strategy and priorities, and ensuring that innovation is closely linked to these priorities to support long-term growth for the company. Dobson joins Pitney Bowes from Corel Corporation, where he served as chief executive officer and led the company to consistent revenue and profit growth. Before joining Corel, Dobson spent 19 years at IBM, where his senior leadership experiences included serving as general manager and president of IBM Printing Systems Division, and as corporate vice president for strategy. In the latter role, Dobson led a company-wide team to identify, nurture and grow new businesses for IBM.

David is a seasoned business executive with a global perspective, said Martin. As Pitney Bowes continues its transition into high-growth, software- and services-driven solutions for customers, his experiences will provide invaluable insights across our lines of business.

I am delighted to welcome both Vicki and David to Pitney Bowes, Martin said. I look forward to their having a strong and positive impact on our growth strategies globally.
