The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) is pleased to recognize the 2008 Fifty for the Future (F4F).
Extending ITA’s mission of building the technology community in Illinois, the F4F program identifies well rounded high potential students and encourages their demonstrated interest and potential by actively engaging them in the community as a launch pad for beginning their careers in technology.
ITA’s Academic Outreach Committee selected the best technology industry minded students in computer science, engineering, math and business recommended by Chicagoland educational programs from high school through masters levels. Their selection was based on demonstrated leadership and capacity for innovative thinking, effective communication skills, community and/or school involvement, and solid academic performance.

In addition to this recognition, the Fifty for the Future honorees have earned priority status in the ITA Student Membership Program. Throughout the year, ITA members will work with the students and the Universities to provide advice, support and mentorship.
