IMPACT Display Solutions and Fujitsu Join Forces to Fill a Void in North American Motherboard Market

IMPACT Display Solutions has reached an agreement with Fujitsu, to distribute their products in North America. This will allow IMPACT Display Solutions to distribute Fujitsu’s full line of Classic Desktop, Industrial and Extended Lifecycle Motherboards. The alliance will enable customers to manage the effects of Intel’s withdrawal from the motherboard market, help stabilize pricing and ensure availability for North American manufacturers.

Intel previously announced its intention to begin moving away from selling desktop motherboards and refocus on other business units. Along with the partnership with IMPACT Display Solutions, Fujitsu has gained tier-two support from Intel, affording them early access to the latest technology. Fujitsu motherboards support Intel Haswell 4th Generation processors which offer the highest level of performance and power savings.
