Throughout her brilliant professional career, Laurette has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Laurette currently serves as a Teacher with the Light of Christ Catholic School Division, which consists of 8 Catholic schools in northwest Saskatchewan. The schools are committed to the growth and development of the whole person, in an atmosphere that is characterized by Christian freedom, moral responsibility and a spirit of openness to others that is based on respect and love for all.
With over 22 years of teaching experience, Laurette specializes in early childhood and special education. Always passionate about children and shaping their minds, she decided to follow in the footsteps of her grandmother who was also a teacher. During her collegiate career, Laurette earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Special Education from the University of Saskatchewan. She is also currently in the process of completing an online special education program.
