PRLog - Jul. 9, 2014 - NEW YORK -- – Today, the Pan Pacific and Southeast Asia Women’s Association (PPSEAWA) published their official letter of support for Michael de la Force as Ambassador for the Goodwill Diplomatic Corps.
Signing off on the organization’s backing was National President Taina A. R. Woodward, in which she states, “As the National President of the Pan Pacific Southeast Asia Women’s Association (PPSEAWA) of the United States of America, I am proud to support Mr. Michael de la Force as Ambassador for the Goodwill Diplomatic Corps.”
Founded in 1928, PPSEAWA is a United Nations NGO and the only international women's organization devoted to families, peace and understanding in the Pacific and Southeast Asia. The organization is represented at the United Nations in New York and Geneva, and at ESCAP, UNICEF and UNESCO.
“Throughout Michael’s membership with PPSEAWA, we have witnessed his ongoing dedication and compassion to achieving the organization’s mission. We have no doubt that he will do the same for the Goodwill Diplomatic Corps and make for an exceptional Ambassador,” Woodward comments.
In addition to his 15-year tenure at PPSEAWA’s New York Chapter, de la Force is an active member and volunteer to numerous associations, some of which include Habitat for Humanity, Screen Actors Guild, and New York Press Club.
“I am grateful for the many years spent with PPSEAWA at the United Nations, and am most appreciative of their kindness of providing me this support,” says de la Force. “I have long believed civic organizations like PPSEAWA are very important and contribute greatly to a better understanding of the world and humanity.”
