Housing Starts Drop 9.3% In June To 893,000 Annual Rate

Construction on new U.S. homes tumbled 9.3% in June to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 893,000, the slowest pace in nine months, led by drops for single-family homes and apartments, according to government data released Thursday.
