E-3 Sentry aircraft tipped for digital cockpit, avionic systems makeover

Richard Tomkins HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass., Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Aging E-3 airborne warning and control aircraft flown by NATO and the U.S. Air Force will have analog equipment replaced with modern digital avionics systems.
