Assets in Syria safe, Gulfsands Petroleum says

Daniel J. Graeber LONDON, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Though operations in Syria are idled because of economic sanctions, Gulfsands Petroleum said Tuesday its assets in the northeast of the country are secured.
