Chrysler Dealerships are Helping Saskatchewan’s Economy Grow

By: PRLog
Crestview Chrysler and Knight Weyburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep, part of the Knight Auto Group, are creating jobs and driving sales.
PRLog - Oct. 10, 2014 - The Globe and Mail recently featured an article about the contributions of Chrysler dealerships to the booming Saskatchewan economy, and Ted Knight, president of Knight Automotive Group, was featured in the piece. The Knight Automotive Group is composed of 12 dealerships, and includes Crestview Chrysler in Regina as well as Knight Weyburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Weyburn, both of which have contributed significantly to their local economies through job creation and strong sales.

Riding 58 months of continuous sales increases, the Chrysler brand is a hot commodity throughout Canada. As The Globe and Mail points out, this is especially true in Saskatchewan, where the economy’s growth has outpaced the national average for several years. While much of this growth can be attributed to strong community ties built by local dealerships like Crestview Chrysler and Knight Weyburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep, the product itself is ultimately what entices people to purchase vehicles.

Mr. Knight praised the direction of the Chrysler brand as well as the quality of its vehicles, stating, “We have absolutely the best quality product I’ve seen in 35 years; the best styling; the best management the company has ever had in Windsor and Detroit.” Mr. Knight’s statement reflects Chrysler’s commitment to continually improving the quality of its vehicles, and drivers who get behind the wheel of a new 2015 Chrysler 200 or 2015 Jeep Wrangler are likely to agree.

While drivers in Saskatchewan have shown a willingness to take a trip to purchase a vehicle at a great value, the Weyburn dealership is in an ideal location in part because of the town’s resource boom. Meanwhile, Crestview Chrysler has benefitted from the growth of Regina, which drew 7,800 new residents last year alone. Altogether, vehicle sales in the province of Saskatchewan jumped by 32 percent from 2009 to 2013. Nationally, that figure stands at 13 percent.

The Chrysler brand is showing no signs of slowing down, and neither are Crestview Chrysler or Knight Weyburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep. The Knight Automotive Group is proud to be a driving force in the local economy, and invites drivers throughout Saskatchewan who want to see the latest models from Chrysler to visit one of their dealerships.
