321,000 jobs added to economy in November

The U.S. added 321,000 new jobs in November — the biggest gain since early 2012 — to extend the strongest streak of hiring in several decades. Virtually every industry was hiring and many of the new jobs were higher paying ones. The nation’s unemployment rate held steady at 5.8%.
