RPost Believes Hillary Clinton Needs RMail For Secure eMail

March 26, 2015 /MM-PressAdvantage/

RPost has revealed that what Hillary Clinton really needs is RMail to secure her email. After Mrs. Clinton left the U.S. State Department, she set up a private email infrastructure. Supposedly, this has a number of excellent security features in place to protect it from hackers and other malicious intent. This was in response to the scandal of her using a "clintonemail.com" domain while she was in office and that this was not secure. Now, the people behind RPost believe that it would have been beneficial for Mrs. Clinton to use Rpost for Gmail instead.

"At Rpost, we offer encrypted email services," explains Zafar Kahn, spokesperson for RPost for Gmail. "This is a method that allows email contents to remain completely safe and secure, even if a hacker or other person with malicious intent would pick up on it."

The Clinton private email scandal keeps growing. It was revealed that she used it regularly for State Department business, despite it being a private email address. Worse still, she didn't use any encrypted email services. Indeed, she didn't even have any internet security, it now appears.

Naturally, this has proven to be a huge scandal since Hillary Clinton is the woman who may try to become president of our country one day and because it is concerning to say the least that she shows such a disregard for security and safety. Indeed, she has also come under scrutiny for the use of her BlackBerry phone, although the general public has been assured that her private device would be scanned after every time she traveled internationally. Again, however, it seems that these are mediocre security measures at best, leaving one of the most powerful people in this country as an open book to people who have malicious intent.

Official reports have stated that the email servers Mrs. Clinton used were vulnerable to hacks.

"Spoofing hacks were of particular concern," adds Zafar Kahn. "This means that a hacker can use the clintonemail.com domain pretending to be the official owner. This, in turn, leaves anybody who has ever sent or received an email to or from that domain could be at risk of attack. This is something RPost aims to avoid."

This is clearly a big deal, as it has been proven that the email address was used for State Department business. This, in turn, would mean that a number of highly confidential conversations could have been compromised. It also means that various confidential email addresses could now be available to hackers and other internet spies.

The information that has been provided was released by cyber security experts. They have also claimed that there are multiple security gaps in the clintonemail.com server. Essentially, when the server was set up, the SPF (Sender Policy Framework) was not turned on. In doing so, a hacker could have easily sent a virus to all the world leaders, posing as Hillary Clinton. According to RPost, this situation shows the importance of having encryted email services on top of regular security.
