Assured Guaranty Hires Christopher Jumper as a Director for Public Finance Eastern Region

Assured Guaranty announced today that it has hired Christopher Jumper as a Director in its Public Finance group. Mr. Jumper will focus on originating and underwriting new business, and maintaining and expanding relationships with industry clients.

Mr. Jumper is reporting to Jim Binette, Managing Director, Public Finance, Eastern Region, who said, “We are looking forward to Chris joining our seasoned team of professionals. He brings thirty years of experience in public finance, more recently executing a variety of transactions in the utility and transportation sectors.”

Prior to joining Assured Guaranty, Mr. Jumper managed the Public Utility group as a Relationship and Portfolio Manager at U.S. Bank. Before that, he was a Senior Director and Manager in the Public Finance Division at Fitch Ratings. Prior to Fitch Ratings, he spent 23 years at MBIA progressing to the position of Managing Director, Public Finance – Global Utilities.
