The complaint alleges that during the Class Period, CytRx made materially false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: the clinical hold placed on the Phase 3 trial of aldoxorubicin would prevent sufficient follow-up for patients involved in the study; that almost half of the patients would be excluded from the progression free survival evaluation; CytRx would like conduct a second analysis; that the results of the trial could be affected or approval of aldoxorubicin could be delayed; and that as a result of the above, the Company's statements were false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
