Legion family members could be eligible to receive up to $3,000 in emergency assistance. Applicants must have been displaced from their primary residence and provide proof of out-of-pocket expenses, including, but not limited to, temporary housing, food, water and clothing.

Detailed information and an application for National Emergency Fund (NEF) assistance may be downloaded at www.legion.org/emergency. For further information or assistance call (800) 433-3318. The American Legion Auxiliary offers similar assistance to its members. More than $9 million of assistance has been granted by the Legion’s NEF since the program's creation.
