Apple and Sun and reversal of fortune

While crowds of Apple fans, pundits and reporters gathered for the media frenzy in San Francisco last week, another event was going on simultaneously. It was basically the handover of the once-iconic Sun Microsystems Inc. to Oracle Corp., its new owner.
