McDonald's May sales up; currency could hit profit

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- McDonald's Corp. posted another strong month in may as the hamburger giant reported Tuesday that same-store sales - those at outlets open at least a year - rose 4.8% on a global basis with all geographic sectors contributing to the positive results.
