Delta Air to sell Mesaba, Compass for $83 million

Delta Air Lines said Thursday it would sell two regional subsidiaries acquired in its merger with Northwest Airlines for a combined $82.5 million, as it sheds less profitable routes from its system and seeks to provide more first-class services for its higher-yielding customers.
