Dr. English is a hands-on consultant who works out in the field. During his collegiate career, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Queensland in 1966 and a PhD from the University of Queensland in 1977. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys hunting and fishing.
Dr. English attributes his success to his total commitment to the conservation of biodiversity through the discipline of veterinary conservation biology, backed up by 44 years of experience as a large animal and wildlife veterinarian. His status in the field stems from his involvement across education, research and consulting in wildlife health and population management. He is prepared and able to get directly involved in activities that are sometimes controversial, such as the culling of feral horses and overabundant kangaroos.
