Shares of AutoZone (NYSE: AZO) fell after competitor O'Reilly Automotive (Nasdaq: ORLY) cut its guidance.
ITG analyst Steve West expects sales growth to slow for Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG).
In the broad market, advancing issues outpaced decliners by a margin of 7 to 2 on the NYSE and by 5 to 2 on Nasdaq. The Russell 2000 which tracks small cap stocks climbed 11 points to 776.
