The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (NYSE: GBX ) announced today it has entered an asset purchase agreement with The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR ) for sale of substantially all the equipment utilized in Greenbrier's reconditioned wheelset roller bearing operations in Elizabethtown, Kentucky ("Elizabethtown").
