Antivirus software maker Symantec SYMC +0.09% slid last week, after the company reported its second quarter earnings for fiscal 2014. The company reported adjusted earnings of $0.47 per share, a 16.7% year-over-year gain which easily topped the consensus estimate of $0.40.
