SunCoke Energy Partners, L.P. Announces Offering of Common Units

SunCoke Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SXCP) announced today that it has commenced an offering of 2,800,000 of its common units, representing limited partner interests in SXCP.

SXCP intends to use a portion of the proceeds received from this offering to fund the cash consideration to be paid in connection with its acquisition of an additional 33 percent ownership interest in each of its Haverhill and Middletown cokemaking facilities and to repay certain debt assumed from its sponsor, SunCoke Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SXC), as part of this acquisition.

Barclays Capital Inc., BofA Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are serving as joint book-running managers for the proposed offering.
