Capella University Announces $15,000 Grant for PhD in Education Students

A $15,000 grant for new PhD in Education students has been announced by Capella University (http://www.capella.edu), a regionally accredited online university* that offers online degree programs designed to help working adults advance in their careers. The grant will be disbursed quarterly for 11 consecutive quarters.

Students must start their PhD in Education program between August and November 2014 and pass their first course to be eligible for the grant, which can be applied to any of Capella’s 10 PhD in Education specializations:

  • Curriculum and Instruction
  • K-12 Studies in Education
  • Leadership in Educational Administration
  • Special Education Leadership
  • Instructional Design for Online Learning
  • Leadership for Higher Ed
  • Nursing Education
  • Postsecondary Adult Education
  • Professional Studies in Education
  • Training and Performance Improvement
