The Wellness Connection in Loudon County Competing to Win $150,000 in Chase Mission Main Street Grants Program, Vote by Oct. 17

The Wellness Connection, LLC, a local health and wellness service provider, is competing with local businesses across the country to win a $150,000 grant from Chase Bank as part of its newly launched program, Mission Main StreetSM Grants. The Wellness Connection needs to receive at least 250 votes from the public by Oct. 17 to be considered for selection to receive the grant, through which it would be able to provide free psychological testing, behavioral therapy, individual and family counseling, psychiatric care, occupational and speech therapy, and group therapies to families who demonstrate financial need. “The purpose of this grant is to help solve the recurring issues related to healthcare. Patients need high quality, affordable healthcare that is accessible in their community,” said Susan McCormick, founder and owner of The Wellness Connection. “Because healthcare reform is in transition, many families have nowhere to go. The Wellness Connection aims to build the bridge between quality care and the families who need it.”

Chase will award $3 million to 20 small businesses across America in January 2015. The final award recipients will be selected by an expert panel developed by Chase.
