Native Brooklynite teen designer holds her first show in NYC.
PRLog - Aug. 8, 2015 - Shelby Tyler Carey presents her STC 4th Annual Fashion Show Saturday August 15, 2015 at La Nacional - Spanish Benevolent Society located at 239 W14th Street in NYC.
This Brooklyn native multi-talented teenpreneur designs and sews her original fashions under the Shelby Tyler Collection brand.
The STC 4th Annual Fashion Show is an historic event in fashion as Shelby Tyler is the youngest female African American to present her own fashion showcase in a Manhattan venue where she not only designed and sewed the clothing but also is the producer of the show.
Shelby's first 3 STC fashion shows were held in Brooklyn, NY with the first one being held when she was only 16 years old. Now at 19 years old, Shelby felt this year's theme of Sex and The City made it most appropriate to showcase the STC 4th Annual Fashion Show in NYC.
This year's show will be hosted by recording artist Rasheeda Wallace.
This successful college student that also has a talent for photography is a beacon for young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.
Shelby Tyler Carey is majoring in Fashion Merchandising and entering her junior year in college at Philadelphia University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
