Kinsale Insurance Forms Inland Marine Division

Kinsale Insurance Company announced the formation of their new Inland Marine Division. Havis Wright recently joined Kinsale as the Division Manager named to lead the effort. Per Mr. Wright, “I am pleased to join the Kinsale team and help continue to broaden the company’s product offering.”

Kinsale’s initial underwriting focus is on the Inland Marine classes found within the Construction, Mobile Equipment, Transportation, Retail and Miscellaneous areas. In addition to the company’s ability to underwrite a broad spectrum of traditional Inland Marine classes, Kinsale has the capability to tailor coverage to complex and/or difficult-to-place risks.

Mr. Wright has an extensive Inland Marine background. He started his career at The Hartford in 2005 and has held positions of increasing responsibility within The Hartford as well as the Inland Marine Departments of the Travelers and most recently Marsh USA. Mr. Wright earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri.
