NEW YORK - Dec. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- A New York Post gossip columnist today ran the latest in a string of yet invented stories on Barry Kieselstein-Cord. The story was fed to the Post by his ex-wife, Karen Cord. The former Mrs. Cord has been living with Whitney Stroh, an heir to the Stroh-Beer fortune, for the past several years. Mr. Stroh maintains homes in New York City, Palm Beach, FL, Charlottesville, VA, and Gross Point, MI.
Mr. Cord's statement is as follows:
"The story is untrue in almost every respect, misleading and possibly libelous. The fact that accusations made by an ex-wife with a financial agenda were taken at face value without any attempt at fact-checking or fairness by the Post is appalling. The Post ran a retraction several years ago after another story about me that was not fact-checked. While I am flattered that the Post considers me important enough to continually print fictitious stories about me, it does raise the question of motivation. I hope a respectable news operation will follow this up, publish the truth, and perhaps ask that question."
