Monsanto Gains Despite Weak Earnings, EU Merger Comments

Monsanto ( MON ) is rising Wednesday despite a downbeat third quarter and news that the European Union will take a hard line on its proposed merger with Bayer. Monsanto said it earned $2.17 a share on revenue that fell 8.5% to $4.19 billion. Analysts were looking for earnings of $2.40 a share on revenue of $4.49 billion. Read More »
