Fred’s Pharmacy Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.06 Per Share

Fred’s, Inc. (NASDAQ:FRED) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share. The dividend is payable on June 15, 2017, to shareholders of record as of June 1, 2017.

Closing of the transaction is conditioned on the completion of Walgreens Boots Alliance's proposed acquisition of Rite Aid, approval by the Federal Trade Commission, as well as customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
