Volume on NYSE picks on stocks' best days; is it enough?

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Volume on the major exchanges has picked up in recent weeks as a nascent rally has gained strength, another hopeful sign that stocks won't so easily relinquish gains this time.
