NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Retail shares headed higher Wednesday after a private survey showed the smallest decline in private-sector employment in six months. Premium denim brand True Religion Apparel Inc. shares surged after its first-quarter profit rose more than expected and the company kept its forecast for the year.
