Teletouch Hosts 2nd Annual East Texas Public Safety Expo

Teletouch Communications, Inc. (OTC: TLLE), a leading U.S. provider of AT&T (NYSE: T) and T-Mobile USA (NYSE: DT) cellular services, two-way radio, mobile electronics and related consumer and public sector electronics products and services, recently managed and hosted as title sponsor, the 2nd annual East Texas Public Safety Expo, held at the Harvey Hall Convention Center in Tyler, Texas, earlier this week. With over 200 senior law enforcement, firefighters and other emergency personnel attending from all across the region, the Expo ranks as one of the largest displays of first responder products and services in Texas.

The East Texas Public Safety Expo gathers together of some of the top manufacturers, software providers and service companies in the public safety industry, including companies and brands such as Motorola®, Whelen®, WatchGuard Video, Stalker Radar®, Havis, Inc., Pro-Gard™, FireCom®, Pelican™, Streamlight®, NCS, Holiday Chevrolet, Zetron®, Raytheon/JPS (NYSE: RTN), Digital Antenna®, and Hawk Electronics. Many of the region’s police officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel were on hand to view the latest products, newest law enforcement vehicles, and listen to presentations about various subjects of public safety interest. The most popular presentations and seminar topics included the current and ongoing migration from analog to digital communications, and the very latest in cross-jurisdiction information sharing software systems from software solutions provider, COPsync, Inc.

"The East Texas Public Safety Expo gives officers and firefighters in the East Texas area, who may not be able to attend some of the larger state shows, a chance to view the latest equipment and talk to manufacturer representatives about their products. Teletouch is very proud to be associated with the East Texas Public Safety Expo, its sponsors and vendors. We feel this is a very informative show, and a great way for Teletouch to give back to the community and the civil servants who protect it," stated Jason Beaver, Emergency Vehicle Products division manager of Teletouch.
