U.S. stock market rises amid correction talk

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- As U.S. stocks gained on Wednesday amid quarterly results that have mostly topped expectations, one analyst said after a seven-month climb, the equities market is approaching a stage where it'll sell into any news.
