Brazil stocks gain as Gerdau, Petrobras rally

Brazilian stocks rise Monday, moving closer to their best level of the year, with Japan's surprisingly strong quarterly GDP report a boon to prices for commodities and related stocks. The market also found support from expectations that Brazil's economy will continue to improve.
